ABOUT CATULLUS FILMS

In 2009, Phil Layton began making short digital films, and decided to brand them all in their credits with the name 'Catullus Films', a reference to a favourite film company distributing films of note - 'Janus Films'.  Over the last 10 years, the skills and production values of Catullus Films have steadily developed, and in 2019 Phil Layton embarked on an M.A. in Filmmaking at Bangor University in North Wales.  Phil's thesis film, featured on this site, is called 'For the Duration'.  Look out for it in 2020.
